I was watching ER this morning and I saw an ad for a toothbrush. I could almost swear I heard it say it had an onboard computer. A toothbrush with a computer inside. Why would a toothbrush need a computer?
This week's question. Is our society becoming too technological? Are we getting too dependent and entwined in all our fancy gadgets whose only purpose is to jingle bad Justin Timberlake songs and take bad pictures of Lindsey Lohan?

Why don't you just ask what the meaning of life is?

I think no, we aren't too relient on it. I think we enjoy it too much, but that doesn't necessarily mean we're dependent on it. People would get upset if half their gadgets suddenly died, but it's not like they'd give and die because they didn't know how to live. Most of the tech crap out there today has just come along in the last ten years. We do remember how to live without it.

I agree, we love way too much, but we could survive without it if we had to.

For the record the meaning of life is to do things that create positive connections between people and things. Developing and helping these connections vibrates up the dimensional hierarchy and pushs back choas and entrophy, thus preserving existence across the multiverse. It's complicated.
