What should the official Caravan of Insanity theme song be? It would have to be something cool, catchy, and mildly bad ass to give people the sense of who we are and what we do and represent. Something that you can see as used as the music to a music video of carefully chosen stock footage of our years and victories. Or perhaps if you can't find good clips, a simple slide show treatment. Either way, what should our theme song be?
I vote the Mute Math song Typical.
In fact I think our artists should create a caravan slide show using that song. I'd help direct.

That does sound like a good theme song for us. It's what we do here. It's who we are. I vote for Mute Math too. We break the spell of the Typical.
That song is so us it's beautiful. It's perfect. That is what we do. The words, the music, the whole vibe. It screams of our undying will to be more than we are and strive towards who we could be. It speaks of our souls' yearning break the chains of medicority that bind is in this life and the next while also tempering that drive with the lingering self doubt that we all deal with and can not escape. Can we break the spell of the typical?

I hate it when you guys do that! Adam does it all the time! I can't stand it! You talk and act like goofy morons most of the time then once every month or so you'll stop, maybe blink or something, and say this clear, intelligent insight that leaves me completely confused and struggling to understand. Then by the time I'm recovered and ready to figure it out you just laugh and go back to being goofy morons! I really can't stand you guys doing that. Can't you be the same people all the time! It wrecks havoc on my brains and makes me feel stupid. Why can't you guys just be one or the other all the time?
But Kate, if we were intelligent and insightful all the time then it wouldn't be as dramatic and profound as it is when we do it out of nothing. That's why Adam hardly talks. He knows that by not talking you'll be more interested and attentive when he finally does talk. It's his thing.

I couldn't have said it better if I had called forth my hidden insight powers and as you and the rest of the keepers of the five keys of the SetterWinds know my powers are quite formidable. That song is the perfect embodiment of our drive and spirit. Each and everyday we should wake up ready to break that spell. If we are not what good are we? As I believe Headmaster once said, "It is the difference between simply existing and living." I want to say on my death bed that I lived! I want to say that I did more than pay bills and take up space! I want to say I broke the spell of the typical!
I was thinking 'Not Gonna Get Us' by Tatu or maybe 'Happy Together' by the Turtles, but the Mute Math does work much, much better.
