Rise up and Leave

The decision on my job has been all but made for me. Boss man gave me a week off this week. I thought it was to give the others some hours, but no. It was because my performance hasn't been all that good. He said if I wanted to stay on as a part timer I could.

So there you have it everybody. It seems that my dislike of my job wasn't a big enough sign to move along. The great lightning god worked his powers through my boss. So Rich, what now huh?
I bet we could come up with some pretty good plans, but as we know life often gets in the way.
Perhaps it's time we became Chunin?

I think this is the point of our lives where we bitch and grumble and then before anyone gets any ideas about saying told ya we start taking college classes somewhere.

...fuckers.

Oh come on dude, I don't know about you, but I still got another good three months of denial in me.

So if we go for our strengths I'm sure you'll be nice well paid computer programmer and I'll be living in a shack somewhere teaching kids how to funnel their anger and hatred.

Or maybe me and Adam can move to some city and start Fight Clubs. I've almost got the abs.

Why don't you teach them how to write? You could find real work for that somewhere. You do know how to write. You're always complaining how the kids don't know that at all. Why don't you become an English teacher? Lord knows you've got the bitterness and sarcasm down beyond what's healthy.

You were saying a few months ago that now that you're out of huge amounts of debt you could get back into huge amounts of debt without it causing much a stir.

It wouldn't be short and easy, but you could think of it as another one of those weird endurance tests you've taken to doing for no real reason. There's probably all sorts of online courses or adult ed places around to get certified. You've got all sorts of people on the inside.

I have to say I'm rather impressed that I was one who thought of this.
It's nice to know I still that juice.

So you think the music store will be hiring then? That's like totally my dream job.

Nate brings up a very valid question. When am I getting knocked up?

When you do start the next generation don't just go the Shawn Jr. route okay? The whole Jr. thing is over done. The Nate teaching idea is a fairly good one. That is something you'd be pretty good at. You'd get summers off.

Stephanie if it's a girl. I know you both and you'd end up going with some sappy name like Rose or Page, but no. Stephanie.

If you like Nate I can come up with a
teaching plan for you that caters to your personality and teens overall interests.

Truth be told, I've already come up with a plan for that. Mondays would be Grammar day. You'd like Thursdays the most because that's style, form, and function day.
