Crossroads

Security and safety or the unknown, adventure, and potential glory? Keep in mind that glory and adventure can be rewarding, but they don't keep the lights on.

It is the difference between living and existing. I would think the choice would be an easy one.

There are times when one must choose the safe path because you're in no position to take the unsafe.

Although I doubt I have to explain that to you of all people, huh Nate?

Happy belated birthday by the way.

I'm leaning a bit towards safety and security. I'm all for glory believe me, but think how less stressful life is on the safety end of things. No worrying about death from above, no wondering if there's a solider of darkness lurking around the next corner that you have to summon forth terrible magics to fend off before it calls for help, and more importantly you can get paid enough to blow money on comic books if you're in the mood.

That last one can not be understated enough. Security of a financial nature is not the easiest thing to come by and shouldn't be thrown away without a very good reason.

Money in the bag security should only be discarded if there's money in the bag glory. Sun Tzu would not approve of risk.

Sun Tzu would have me wait to act?
I see and understand the value of patience. However, it feels I have been sitting and waiting for the right moment to act for nearly all my life. Need I wait more? When is my time to act? Truly it is said, "A man must claim his fate least it seek to claim him."

Our works have been rewarded. The great Lightning god and the others of Heaven shine good fortune on the pious. This has been seen. Perhaps what we have tasted is but a minor sampling of what lays before us waiting for us to but claim it. Perhaps all we need do is cast aside our fears and all that holds us from greatness.

Surly, you must all agree there becomes a point when one must choose his path and strike out with his heart empty of hesitation.

I grow tired of safety. Nothing comes from it.

We'll have to duel! The Lightning god will back the one of us that is right and thus we shall know which course is the correct one.

Naturally it will be a three part ordeal comprised of varying sets of skills and strength.

You doing anything Sunday?
