Spiders

I found an interesting quote while watching videos on youtube. It was a trip like I do amv for Trigun. At the beginging and end it said across the screen, "kill the spiders to save the butterflies"
at the end it added, "It's rational until you realize that by striving for it, you become a spider yourself."
Something I just wanted to share.

It can be hard for the ones on the outside to tell the difference between an avenging angel and a demon.
The only way you can tell sometimes is
one of them knows when to call it a day.

I agree gentlemen, truth lies the delicate nature of the balance between spiders and butterflies. Only by transforming yourself into a spider when a spider is killed do you preserve that balance. For every spider slain there is one to take it's place.
That is the true wonderous beauty of nature my good fellows, as I am sure you all no doubt agree.

I second your statement my well learned friend! Surely it is this balance that will yield us the answers to all of God's great mysteries. My companions in Durham-I hold a teaching position there, nothing too fanciful mind you of course, but I still find it difficult not to be overly proud-often speak of and discuss their search and study for a single true answer, but I must say I've always felt differently in regards to the matter entirely. I have in fact barred myself from their stale discourse on the sole grounds that
I still wish have students to teach the following day!
However, I can see from your words that in this open forum of learned men I need not hold my tongue.
Would you perhaps care to join me some evening for a night's meal and after we can retire to the smoking parlor for discussion? You simply must! I have been saving a fine bottle of port in my cellar for such an occasion.
Good day sir! I look greatly forward to your reply!

The importance of the balance in all things cannot be overstated! I have said this to many a man over my years, however often I am not heded.
I spent a many year in the jungles of the deep Congo, the dark heart of the African continent itself, so I know of the spiders and butterflies that you speak of.
However gentlemen, while I admit I am not as well read and learned as the good man from Durham I have been hard taught from the school of life and I shall put this to you. The balance you seek and speak of is not an even one!
In the wilds of that distant dark continent often I would see swarms of butterfiles perched or floating above free flowing water, but rarely did I see a spider of any type. Surely, my fellows, you must know that if the numbers of spiders and that of butterflies matched the butterflies would be eaten within a weeks time.
Truely that very same can be applied to all things. I am intrigued to hear your opinions.
